Kalu Vybez and 76 Drums are back with their second collaboration, “Ba Doro,” a lively track that draws on Kalindula rhythms while mixing in elements of Zambian fashion, culture and everyday storytelling.
The song centres on Doro, a character portrayed as someone with plenty of potential but little focus — spending too much time playing and avoiding the hard work needed to move forward.
Behind its upbeat sound, “Ba Doro” carries a straightforward message about discipline, responsibility and staying focused. It also pushes back against the tendency to blame society for every setback.
